Since we started doing wedding in 2012, we have helped over 300 brides and grooms plan their transportation. It is a big day, and trying to do everything on your own can be extremely overwhelming. I am sure that you have many questions about what you need to do, when you should do it, and who should be doing what. I am here to help you. Let me give you the word that you should start to love, Delegate.

If you are the bride, yes, you want to make all the decisions. I can't blame you, you should make them, it is your day after all. But that does not mean that you have to do all of the leg work. DELEGATE some of the responsibilities to the groom, your maid of honor, even the best man. They love you and want to help. The maid of honor should know you well enough to be able to plan your bachelorette party. The best man should have no issues planning a bachelor party. Have your groom take care of the Limousine and the music. Allow someone that is artsy make contact about centerpieces and flower arrangements. Have a parent figure out chair rentals. Give them all your requirements so that they know what you want. This will give you a little more time to focus on larger details like the reception hall, the wedding site, and of course how everyone else will be dressed. Remember to DELEGATE responsibilities the day of the wedding too. That is the most important time to delegate. You will be very busy. Put a groomsman in charge of talking with the Chauffeur. Have a bridesmaid that is relaying messages to the officiant, or the groomsmen. Have a person that is there to greet the bridal party and show them to where to get ready. This will help you to stay relaxed.

When it comes to booking what you want, DON"T WAIT. Yes, you might get a better deal if you wait until the last second, but remember that the things you want have a limited supply. If you wait until later to book what it is that you really want, it may not be available. If you want to rent a hall, a limo, hire a DJ, have a certain caterer, or get that perfect photographer, someone else probably does to. This is especially important with vehicles and venues. Only one group can be in a vehicle or venue at a time, so again, DON"T WAIT.
