Getting to know Troy

This is a very exciting time for D & D Executive Transportation. We are currently gearing up for wedding and prom season which is right around the corner. Plus, our newest limousine, an all-black stretched 4X4 JEEP Grand Cherokee Laredo will soon be added to our astonishing fleet. We take pride in listening to feedback and the requests of our customers, so it was a wise company decision to invest in the newest and hottest vehicle in our industry.
Now, a brief history about me, the new GM at D & D. Being a born and raised Michigander, I attended Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo where I received my bachelor’s degree in Interpersonal Communication and Sociology. Immediately following college, I accepted a position in operations for Hyatt Hotels and Resorts in Ohio. After years of accolades and advancements, I chose to move back to Michigan to be closer to family and start my new career path. Now home and with the skills I learned from Hyatt, I was able to have a successful profession in Production Management as well as Fleet Operations and Logistics. During this time, I was also a part-time chauffeur for D & D where I was able to display my personality and hospitality experience. This in-turn made me one of the most requested chauffeurs in the company. Just recently David Archer, the owner, presented me the full-time opportunity to take on the challenge of General Manager. Working with this already strong staff and established company, I knew it to be a great decision for both parties. I am very much looking forward to many years of success and expansion with the D & D brand.
I have just recently visited our partner company Battisti Customs in Elkhart, IN, who gave us a full tour of their amazing facility. It was so beneficial to see all the work that goes into these custom-built limousines, created from the ground up. All our custom-built limousines are created around one person, you the passenger. We are proud to offer our customers the modern style, comfort and safety they deserve when choosing their transportation service.
I am happy to discuss my current project this month which is expanding our service to our Metro Detroit universities and colleges. With the help of our Sales and Marketing team, we are sitting down with university meeting planners and travel coordinators to discuss how we can benefit them. Our fleet of Cadillac sedans and experienced chauffeurs provide the luxury and dependability your clients expect. This has been an exciting month thus far, we continue to revamp our website, affiliate information, implement new procedures, and adjust our marketing strategies.
